300 dpi scanning - Photos scanned at 300 dpi are great for viewing on your computer, sharing with friends and family on social media or making similar sized reprints.

600 dpi scanning - Scanning your photos at 600 dpi captures more detail and gives you the option to enlarge your images to twice the original size with out the loss of quality.  Which might be handy down the road for making larger prints or viewing the photos on high resolution TV's.  If your archiving your photos we recommend 600 (dpi),
